Traveling with Eckhout: A Road Map for Traveler-Teachers

Invites teachers to embark with their students on a journey to 17th-century Brazil through the paintings of Albert Eckhout. Makes connections between art, science and cultural identity via the history of Dutch colonization in Brazil. Helps traveler-students to achieve new insights into others, themselves and the world they live in.
